We meet every single Tuesday of a year, except one during ChristmasTimings:
-> Doors open – 6:15 PM
-> Tournament registration – 7:00 PM – 7:25 PM
-> Tournament round starts 7:30 PM
Tournament info:
Registration:
- Online – Interac etransfer to: kwchessinfo@gmail.com. Put password as: “kwchess”. Make sure to mention your Name, Tournament, and your CFC id.
- In person – Drop in on the day, as per aforementioned timings. Jot down your name and CFC number on the registration Paper (At the desk). Once paid in cash, make sure it is marked besides your name.
- For free tournaments: Just register in-person
Regular Time Controls: Game in 50 min plus 20 s delay.
Quick/Active Time Controls: Game in 25 min plus 10 s delay.
Note: Usual Tuesday scheduled Regular and Quick/Active tournaments are 20 CAD per tournament. They are also CFC rated and hence require CFC membership. KW Chess Club membership is not Mandatory.
Blitz Time Controls: Game in 5 min plus 2 s delay
- Blitz tournaments need no CFC membership. These are NOT cfc rated.
- Free for all.
