The KW Chess Club is one of the largest and most active chess clubs in Canada. We are a not-for-profit, member-based organization that promotes the game of chess. Learn about our club’s 30+ year history in the community.  The club’s strength is in its membership, and we welcome players of all ages and ability. So if you are just beginning to learn how the pieces move, or you are a battle-hardened veteran of the board – come out and join us for a game of chess!

  • Youth – Tuesday evenings 6:30pm – 7:30pm learn more about the KW Youth Chess Club
  • All Ages – Tuesday evenings 7:00pm – 10:00pm 

KW Club Membership Rates (per year):

  • Adults: $40.00 per year
  • Youth: $25.00 per year (Must be 17 years or younger) learn more about the KW Youth Chess Club
  • Family: (Immediate family members living together) *New*
    • Adult + Youth: $40 + $10 for each additional
    • Youth only: $25 + $10 for each additional

We are a non-profit organization.  All money collected goes towards rent, rating fees, creating tournaments, running the website, misc. costs, as well as facilitating special events to come!
